Lantern Drop Light, 1950s
Now this is embarassing. It was only yesterday that I ranted at my dear colleague Sarah for using the term "entzückend", which is a rather outdated German word for enchanting, and used more in an ironic context nowadays. However here I go and can't think of any other attribute more apt to this tiny little lamp. So: sorry, Sarah. My bad.
To the point: we've got this lovely Mid-Century Modern pendant lamp, consisting of a frosted glass shade and held by a filigree construction from wire and perforated metal in black, white, and brass. So isn't this entzückend?
Very good condition, neither chips nor cracks on the glass. Only the "hat" is slightly warped, which, once pending, would catch only a neurotic's eye.
Measures: diameter 25cm, height 18cm, cable length 50cm.
