Knoll Three Seat Sofa, 1960s
And here they go again: the Knoll Family. Maybe it would be interesting to know what would have happened to 20th century furniture design without this dynasty. Or sad. We don't know.
The most successful product line of Wilhelm Knoll was upholstered furniture: armchairs and sofas meeting the highest standards of mass production, elegantly yet stably designed and made from the most beautiful precious woods.
Like this three seat sofa from the '60s: the sophisticatedly curved cherrywood base with a really, really (we mean: really!) lovely honey-coloured hue is complemented by the upholstery, newly covered in warm grey flannel.
Very good condition with some minor traces of usage on the base.
The covers wash at 30°C (removable).
Measures: width 185cm, depth 79cm, height 79cm, seat height 40cm.
A matching two-seater – newly covered for sure – is available separately.
